Soul Reaver - The Complete Soundtrack v5

The fifth version of the SR1 OST is finally done and available for download! This version is available in Ogg Vorbis. The soundtrack is divided into three parts, which can be downloaded and extracted separately. I have uploaded both versions, so you can choose which one to download.

Thanks for downloading and enjoy the awesome Soul Reaver music!

Please bear in mind, that the SR1 OST which is hosted on NR is outdated and I recommend downloading this version instead.

      The tracks which are not in-game are only available in ogg, sorry (more info in the Read Me).

    Fantastic work! I'd been looking for a complete Soul Reaver OST in high quality since the game came out. Grabbed the FLACs. I had no idea there were so many variations on every theme. I can tell you are intimately familiar with the game and this came out extremely well!

    Hehe, you´re welcome :) The correct version is already part of the download, so you don´t need to download it separately.

    Does SR2 rip needs to be revised? I think it´s pretty much finite.

    Yeah, it´s because those tracks are screwed up in the pc version.. I could however record them from ps2 version if you want.

    May I suggest using a free account at MediaFire to upload the OSTs to instead of SendSpace? The filesize limit is only 200 MB (so split it into 199 MB pieces instead of 300 MB ones?) but there is no expiration due to inactivity. :)

      Hmm, I´ve already have all my files on Sendspace... but if you say there is no inactivity deletion, that might be a good solution. However, I would have to rezip all the files which will result into many parts, I´ll think about this.

      I'm in the process of downloading them right now, and will resume once Sendspace resets my daily download limit (which MediaFire also conveniently does not have!)

      If it's all right with you, I'm willing to re-split these lovely OGG archives and upload it to my own MediaFire account. I'm hosting some other LoK material there as it is; I'd love to offer the full OSTs there as well. (and BO2's and SR2's -- Nosgoth.net seems to be down right now, so I can't find the links for the SR2 OST....)

      (Plus, I find MF's download speeds a lot better than Sendspace's...)

      That would be nice, but I want to update some stuff in the files (forgot to rename one Drowned Abbey track correctly) so I´ll rezip them and upload them to mediafire myself rather. Yeah, noticed nosgoth.net is down, might be some change on the site going on :)

    Hm. We could coordinate, too? I can upload at a decent enough speed (well, 50KB/sec) and just finished downloading this version, so if you were to send me a list of changes to make and the new files to add/replace/whatever, I'd be happy to do so for you! My account has the space available still. And then you could always just tell MF to copy the files to your own MF account if you wanted them there. Save you the upload time? :)

    Any plans to put up the SR2 OST somewhere besides Nosgoth.net for times like this? I'm eager to hear your version of it!

      Thanks a lot for the offer, but I prefer to upload it myself so I can manage the files when I need. I have 60KB/s upload speed, so don´t worry :)

      Hmm, I might upload SR2 OST on there as well. Thanks for the tip, I like MF before too, just never made an account. Well the one I have is the same as on Nosgothic realm.

    i downloaded everything from the FLAC section ,
    yet the only thing which shows up as an archive file
    and not a white page saying "can't read .007 file"
    is the last one OST3
    Guess it was just for your eyes only?

      i do not have 7zip , only winrar.
      are the files spposed to automatically combine or something into a .zip file?

      Because all i get are .001 , .002 file etc

      Get 7zip and extract the first .001 file and it will extract all the archives associated with it.

      the first OST 1 , when unpacked with 7ZIP , gives track 1 underword through 80 water glyph .

    Just one question. What version did you use to rip it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that both PC and PSX versions use a sample rate of 37800 Hz (PC version appears to be an upscale to 44100 Hz taken from the PSX version), while Dreamcast version's tracks appear to be legitimate 44100 Hz since it sounds deeper and warmer than the previous ones.

      Hey, I have recorded the tracks from ps1 version, which were recorded as waves and then saved as FLACs and Oggs. Not sure what is the original sample rate of the midi tracks in-game though.

    I'm listening them right now, and now I can see how the PC version is poor concerning music. This is such a shame, all the alternative versions of each theme do not exist :/

    It should be possible to upload the full OST in 1 Zip-file on Mega.com, please do this.
    Also consider converting the FLAC to a MP3 format, FLAC is my favorite format however I find it strange that the OST is a lot bigger than the game itself.

      Hey, I do not have the time nor bandwidth to upload it to more sites. There is no need for mp3, since it is already in ogg vorbis, which is superior to mp3 anyway.

    me using Soul Reaver [GoG] Version, and, the music is not complete. no change in the moment of the battles, and with the bosses, the only song of battle is the battle of Melchiah, with all bosses :/

      Hey, the pc version does not have the dynamic changing soundtrack. You must play the playstation or dreamcast versions for that.
